The shoes are the easy part

Carbon-plated road racers from Chinese brands with little or no retail presence in North America: Xtep, ANTA, Li-Ning, Do-Win and others. Every model is checked against its own spec sheet and independent reviews before it goes up, and the shop is the current list.

We would rather carry a short list we can price honestly than a long one we cannot. Every shoe is priced from what it costs us to get it to your door, not from what the market will bear. Some of these brands now sell here too, through Amazon or their own storefronts, and most of our prices come in under theirs. Where one does not, you still get the pair in your size, worked out for you, through one Canadian checkout.

These shoes are labelled in millimetres, and every brand converts its own sizes to US differently. The charts floating around online disagree by half a size or more, which is how people end up with a racer that does not fit.

So we use one rule for every shoe. Tell us your usual US size and we turn it into centimetres: a US 9.5 is 27.0cm, and each half size is 5mm. That is the size to order. ANTA's sizes fall between whole centimetres, so for ANTA we round up to the next size, never down: a 27.0cm foot takes their 27.2. Start with the size finder.
