By using this website you agree to use it lawfully and in line with these terms. Product availability, pricing and content may change without notice.

All prices are shown and charged in Canadian dollars. The site can display an approximate US dollar conversion for convenience, but your card is always charged the Canadian dollar amount, and the conversion shown is indicative only.

No sales tax is added at checkout. We are below the CRA's small-supplier threshold and are not registered for GST/HST, so there is none to collect. If that changes, tax will be calculated at checkout from your shipping address and this paragraph will change with it.

This is separate from the 5% GST that Canada charges on an imported parcel, which is assessed at the border and stays with you as the importer — see Duty and import fees below.

Orders ship directly from a supplier rather than from stock we hold, so they cross the border as individual parcels addressed to you. Where duty is assessed, Canada charges roughly 20% on footwear of Chinese origin (HS 6404.11), plus 5% GST on the duty-paid value — that is, on the goods plus the duty, so the two compound rather than simply adding. Canada's duty-free threshold is CAD $20, so a parcel of this value is legally assessable.

In practice most parcels of this kind are delivered without a duty bill: whether any given one is assessed is at the border's discretion and we cannot predict or influence it. Nothing about our shipping is arranged to avoid assessment, and every parcel is declared at its actual value. Treat a duty charge as unlikely rather than impossible.

Neither is included in the listed price, and where they are charged the carrier normally bills you before delivery. If you are charged duty on an order from us, we will refund it, and we will refund the carrier's brokerage or handling fee along with it: send us the carrier's invoice or receipt showing the amounts, along with your order number, and we will pay both back to you in full.

The refund is sent by Interac e-transfer to the email address you give us, normally within two business days of us seeing the receipt. Use the contact form and choose “Duty or customs”, or reply to your order confirmation. There is no deadline to claim and no minimum amount.

The refund covers the duty and the carrier's brokerage or handling fee — Canada Post charges $9.95 on a dutiable item, and courier brokerage is typically $15 to $20. It does not cover the 5% GST, which is a tax on you as the importer rather than a carrier charge we can reimburse, so that portion stays with you.

We do not pre-pay duty, so parcels are not delivered duty-paid. The refund happens after you are charged, not instead of it — which for most orders means it never needs to happen at all.

Products are sized in Mondopoint — the length of the last in millimetres — which is the manufacturer's own measurement and the figure printed on the shoe. Conversions to US, UK and EUR sizes, and any recommendation based on the size you wear in another brand, are guidance offered in good faith rather than a guarantee of fit.

Where guidance and millimetres disagree, the millimetre size is the authoritative one.

We do not accept returns for change of mind, or because a shoe does not fit. Orders ship directly from a supplier abroad rather than from stock we hold, and there is no domestic address to send a pair back to. Please use the sizing tools before you order — they exist because this is the part we cannot undo for you.

If a pair arrives faulty, is not the shoe or size you ordered, or does not arrive at all, we refund you in full. You do not need to send anything back: returning a shoe to the supplier costs more than the shoe, so keeping it is simpler for both of us. Tell us within 30 days of delivery, or of the date delivery was due.

Nothing here removes rights you have under provincial consumer protection law, which cannot be contracted out of — including the right to goods of merchantable quality, and the right to cancel an order that has not arrived within 30 days of the delivery date we gave you.

If a size recommendation from this site turns out to be wrong, tell us: that feedback is how the sizing guidance gets more accurate.
