The Xiaonian puts 40mm of A19 TPEE supercritical foam under the heel and 34mm under the forefoot (a 7mm drop), with no plate, so its bounce comes from the foam. At about 189g in a US 9 it is light for a shoe this tall.
It is a shoe for most of your week: easy runs, long runs and steady tempo work, and a good partner for a carbon racer on race day. RTINGS and Road Trail Run have both reviewed it well.
An engineered woven upper and CPU rubber outsole round it out.
Best for: Tempo and workouts.
Fit: DYNAFISH label in millimetres, so the size we give you is your US size in centimetres. Short in the toe and snug across the forefoot, and they skip 255, 275 and 295: a foot that lands on one of those takes the next size up.
