The Ares Max gives Do-Win's fast Ares line a marathon-ready stack: 37mm of Suder F3 supercritical foam at the heel and 31mm at the forefoot (a 6mm drop), over a full-length XT Carbon plate.
Even with the extra foam it weighs about 176g in an EU 41, lighter than the thinner Ares 4 Pro. A polyester-fishline and TPE jacquard mesh upper keeps it light, and Dee TUFF+ rubber covers the wear zones.
Choose it for the half or full marathon if you want protection late in the race without giving up a fast shoe.
Best for: Race day.
Fit: A wider, more forgiving platform than most Chinese racers, but still cut short in the toe. Do-Win label in millimetres, so the size we give you is your US size in centimetres.
